A word from the Director of Schools, Samira Othman
Dear Parents..
It gives me great pleasure to meet you annually at such times to recall together the journey of Hijaz over twenty years of giving.
On a dear spot in the soil of this good homeland, the land of civilizations and the cradle of prophets, the Hijaz Private Kindergarten was established in 1999, one thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine, followed by the establishment of the first Hijaz School in 2001, two thousand one, and the journey began carrying within it an authentic thought and diligent work in striving to grow a good seedling.
The school underwent horizontal and vertical development, and the second Hijaz School was established in 2012, and in the following year (2013), the international department was opened to allow our students to keep up with global programs and open horizons for them to meet their needs by diversifying sources of knowledge. In two decades, we have been keen to keep pace with developments and introduce technology to the educational process. We have adopted educational and teaching policies that combine authenticity and modernity. Schools have been provided with advanced facilities, including computer labs, scientific and professional labs, electronic and paper libraries, within a safe environment that stimulates learning and modern educational strategies sponsored by qualified cadres. Schools seek to guide their students towards Islamic ethics and morals through their cultural programs and activities accompanying the curricula.
The school has taken it upon itself to pay attention to reciting and memorizing the Book of God, so we have graduated memorizers, male and female, and those who have been certified in memorizing the Book of God or parts of it.
Last year, the schools signed an agreement with the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education to obtain accreditation in education quality (AROQA) and the schools are working hard to obtain accreditation.
