Amoun Applied University College, located in the heart of Amman, Jabal Amman, is a center of excellence and a standard in developing applied education in Jordan.
The college was established in 1980 as the Ammon College, where it started offering a diploma in hotel management, and evolved over time to become a university college under the name of Jordan Applied University College for Hotel and Tourism Education and the name was changed to return as it was previously Ammon University College of Applied and which offers a bachelor’s degree for hotel management and Business event management launched. The University College also offers two diploma training programs in hotel management and culinary arts, both of which are accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in addition to a variety of short-term training programs that meet all the needs of hotel management in the hotel and tourism sector. In addition, the college offers a tourist significance program, which is certified by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

Welcome to Ammon Applied University College, one of the higher education institutions in Jordan and a pioneer in hotel and tourism education in Jordan and in the Middle East and North Africa region.
Since its establishment in 1980, this university college aims to develop hotel and tourism education in Jordan by keeping abreast of recent developments in these disciplines to produce students who have the knowledge and skills necessary to work in the Jordanian tourism sector. This promising sector creates many job opportunities for Jordanians.
The college offers specialized programs in hotel management and tourism services management at the undergraduate and diploma level and focuses on these programs on aspects
Applied and theory in a balanced way to create an integrated graduate in terms of knowledge and skills, whether technical, cognitive or linguistic.
The tourism sector in Jordan is an advanced and promising sector that needs large numbers of graduates to work in all the required jobs in this sector, and the University College of Jordan is trying to fill part of this need by graduates who can meet the higher, middle and lower administrative needs in Jordanian hotel establishments.

Career path. In this context, Jordan University College held agreements with European and American institutions to train students in addition to exchanging professors and students and cooperation in the field of scientific research.
The College currently obtained a TedQual Certificate from the World Tourism Organization, which is a certificate of excellence in hotel education.
The college is also a member of international organizations such as Eurhodip, UNWTO, ICHRIE, and the American Hospitality Academy AHA.
The University College of Jordan has all the ingredients for success not in Jordan but in the Arab region in general.
